Walking in Beirut is similar to life. Your route "should" always lead you to your final destination, though as much as we'd like, it is never in a straight line. Like in life, walking in Beirut is full of detours and obstacles. Some of them are expected, and well, some others are totally out of the blue. There are even some obstacles that might make you choose a different route altogether. One might say "this is normal," but wouldn't it be easier if we could all walk a straight line?
