I have been living in Beirut for about four years now. And throughout these years, my route has changed as I have become more familiar with my surroundings, hence I've learned to spot shortcuts that have allowed me to reduce the amount of time needed to reach my destination. Furthermore, this has also allowed me to create certain ties with places that have taken on a sentimental value.
